This innovative device is engineered to efficiently harvest raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, honeyberries (haskap), and other fruits from bushes grown on flat poles or T-shaped supports. With the KAREN harvester, fruit harvesting becomes fully mechanized, even for older plantations, while maintaining the health of the plants.

How Does the KAREN Blueberry Harvester Work?

The KAREN harvester operates through a system of vertical shakers that gently shake the fruit off the bushes. Attached to a tractor, the machine moves across the row of bushes, guiding them into the shaking zone. The gentle movement of the shaker fingers causes the ripe fruit to fall off the bushes. They land on a set of conveyors, where an advanced system of covers and seals reduces fruit losses. Harvested fruit is then conveyed to the cleaning zone where a fan removes leaves, sticks and other debris. The pre-cleaned fruit is later transported via belts to crates, with an option for additional manual sorting in the sorting zone before unloading.

The KAREN harvester is equipped with spacious working platforms that can accommodate up to two operators per side, allowing them to perform additional sorting tasks as needed. The machine also includes a large platform for both empty and full crates, ensuring efficient operation for long hours in any conditions.

In addition to raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, the KAREN harvester is versatile enough to harvest cherries and olives from young trees, as well as sea buckthorn and other similar fruits.
