ROCH Currant Shoots Cutter – Effective Side Shoot Removal for Berry Plantations

The “ROCH” currant shoot cutter is a specialized machine for removing unwanted shoots growing at the base and on the outside of bushes such as currants, chokeberries, and gooseberries. Regular side shoot removal is a key part of plantation maintenance, helping to rejuvenate the bushes and improve their overall condition. This results in better growth conditions and contributes to a higher yield and improved fruit quality.

The cutting process is carried out using a circular saw mounted on a tilting arm, which allows for precise and efficient work along the row. The machine is mounted on the front or rear three-point linkage of a tractor with at least 40 HP.

For increased efficiency and cleanliness, the “ROCH” can be optionally equipped with a hydraulic sweeper that clears away the cut shoots from the working area. This feature reduces the need for manual cleanup and helps keep the plantation neat and tidy.
